Angelina's of Maryland was formed in 2005 for the purpose of carrying on a tradition. With the future of Baltimore's famous restaurant uncertain, we worked hard under the guidance of generations of previous owners to learn and preserve the recipes, techniques and ingredients that made the Angelina's crab cake a Maryland institution for decades.
We are proud to offer a product today that is virtually unchanged from the original and practically unmatched in the marketplace. A stubborn insistence on domestic blue crab makes our product one of the last representatives of a true Maryland crab cake - even if one of the most expensive to produce. We have found that our customers appreciate the difference.
Our crab cakes are now hand-made in small batches on Maryland's Eastern Shore, just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay, and shipped to seafood lovers nationwide.
